I finished the first day of work yesterday... IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! Oh my gosh, I haven't had this much fun in a job for a long time! They started me working immediately, I got to use this super fancy Digital Camera and go and take pictures of the insides and outsides of these really ritsy, fancy houses! My coworkers are SO nice too, I love working with all them! Get this, I get my own office, a brand new computer, I have a virtually private bathroom and I'm right next to the kitchen! All the comforts of home!

The "Festival in the Park" is today in Spearfish. It's this really big arts and crafts festival with tons of exotic food and some of the most cutting edge music. It makes Spearfish lots of money, and it's such a cool thing to see! My Papa's fave? PORKCHOPS ON A STICK!!! Seriously, they make these pork chops on a stick that you can buy and walk around with so there are no plates! We've got a service project up at the Animal Sanctuary this morning, but afternoon, Yukichan is coming down and we're gonna all go and have a good time! Yay!!!

LotR news for today, I can't wait to start on my LotR costumes for the TTT project! I just bought an Aragorn toy for the full costume design. My best friend Yukichan has agreed to go as Arwen, so we're going as the lovely couple! Next year, yah I'm already planning, I definately want to go as Faramir. He's SO my favorite character. Okay, I admit, it's still tied between him and Aragorn. But what I'm really psyched about is the new scenes that were shot for TTT just this summer! I mean, I can only imagine how killer those new shots are going to be! Any with my dear Frodo in it is always a great shot! ::squeals happily:: Yah, I'm a hopeless addict, but in least I admit it!

RANDOM LOTR THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Palantirs... Aka another good way to poke your nose into someone else's business!

::takes a really deep breath:: I GOT A JOB!!! I GOT A JOB!!!!! I GOT A JOB!!!!!!! ::GRINZ:: I finally got a job doing something I actually love! It was so weird, I kid you not. I had these two dislocated ribs that had to reset, thus keeping me from working at SCI, aka the dark hell that was once a working enviroment, and I happened to get called into a second interview by REMAX of the Hills, this real estate agency that handles all the six digit sale houses in the Black Hills region. They were so impressed, they gave me a second interview. Well, today I went and quit SCI 'cuz I just couldn't handle it, and within the same day, I was HIRED by REMAX to be an Advertising/Marketing Executive! ::SQUEALS:: It's like a dream come true!!! I'm getting paid $7.75 and hour to be creative and use my art skills! I am WAYYYYYY psyched!!

Whew, now that I've managed that out of my system, I've just fnished outlining the beautiful iconography on the back of my brother's "Seymour" costume. It looks SO beautiful, and my parents have really been impressed with my sewing skills. I can't wait to start on my Sissy's, making the bow for her Yaone costume is going to be so much fun, 'cuz it's SO long! ::grins::

Now for the LotR news for today! I am so psyched for the TTT premiere now because, guess what?! I'm making Aragorn's costume to wear to the premiere!!! I was originally going to go as Galardriel in her cape, but I realized that I already had Aragorn's jacket pattern in my large collection of patterns. How could I NOT go as my favorite man? Okay, tie between him and Faramir. ::SWOONS OVER DAVE AND VIGGO:: Now if I can just convince one of my friends to go as Frodo... ::hentai giggle:: Actually, I'm only five foot, I should probably go as Frodo, but I look WAY better in leather! Oh, and a big wave to the website "cl" again for making another series of beautiful art works! I love it!! I love it!!! I love it!!!!

Long time, no Blog... and you know why?... BECAUSE I HAVE THE MOST MISERABLE JOB THAT I COULD HAVE EVER HOPED TO HAVE GOTTEN IN MY LIFETIME!!!! ::coughs:: Here I thought I was doing a good thing choosing to work for Sanmina/SCI corporation over working for Conseco... Sheesh, what was I thinking?!!!!! I found out I was making two dollars LESS than a normal technician and worse yet, our company is going under!!! AUGH!!!! I can't believe this!!!

BUUUUUUTTTTT, there is good news on the horizon. I got an interview with RE/MAX, this real estate company about ten miles from my hometown. They wanted someone to come in and design webpages for them, make up Publishing/Advertising packets and also do some secretarial duties. They were so impressed by my resume, they asked to see my professional web portfolio! ::HOLDS UP HUGE 'GO ME' SIGN:: Keep your fingers crossed, minnasan, this is a job I REALLY want!!!

LotR News for today, there's a lot of hype around the release of FOTR on the internet and on the TV, ne? I can't believe you can already reserve it in most stores! Not that that's a bad thing. I now know why Disney put off releasing "Monsters Inc." until September. LotR is gonna' crush any other releases! Heh, not that I mind... I wouldn't mind being crushed by my Elijah... preferably with Viggo helping... ::HENTAI GRIN:: Oooh, and I found this AWESOME LotR/Elijah Wood fan site in Japan called Sick Hack! The art is SOOOO beautiful and she made this wonderful comic about how Viggo came to get that famous picture of Elijah smoking in the snow! It's so cute!!! Of course, she's also got Elijah paired with Orlando and Josh Harnett, but I think Viggo is the best.
