It's my last Blog post here at work. My coworkers have all been so sweet, I almost regret leaving them. I'd like to reiterate the "almost" part of that statement. Some times you've just got to move on even if you don't know where you're going! I'm gonna' apply for the Graphics Arts job at one of the local newspapers until I have enough to be able to actually head to Florida. Until then, hell, it's been fun and I'll miss everyone here.

::GRINZ:: But the big news is of course... NDK TOMORROW!!!! I am so excited! I get to see my sweetie Imoutochan, and I'll be able just to kick back and relax! The costumes are all done, and everything is gonna' get packed when I get home! Keee!! I've waited a whole year to get to this point, Oniisan and Sissy's car has been checked and fixed. Jason will be over tomorrow, I'm crashing at their place tonight! We'll be on the road by 8 or 9 a.m. and pointless anime fun is on it's way! So, this will be my last Blog post until after the con, where I will give much details! Hopefully I'll be able to get my film developed and on disk right away so I can upload to Cosplay Labs and Cosplay.com so everyone can see all the work! I can't wait!!!

Took another quiz, in honor of attending NDK, I took a "What Slayers Character Would You Be?" The results were a suprise, but very kewl!



I LOVE SYPHIEL!! I think she is so darling, but I would have assumed I would have been Lina Inverse with my temper, greed and hunger for food. My Sissy is more like Syphiel, she's got the hair and the sweet temperament. I actually do support Gourry and Syphiel together outside of Gourry and Zelgadiss together. Aye, it's my little "shameful" ordinary couple secret... ::giggles:: Ah well...

LotR news for today, I will have everything Faramir related, I'd like to state the right now. Having seen even more sneaky peeks of Dave Wenham as my super luscious angsty Son of Gondor, makes me realize that I must have everything related. I see that Australia is already selling the action figures, I wonder how long it'll take to get to the states?! I mean, we seem to always be the last to get anything. Ooh, and The Two Towers PS2 game looks so awesome, I could scream! I can't wait to get a chance to play it!

RANDOM LOTR THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You Know You Watch Too Much LotR When: You slowly begin to augment your wardrobe to include all things related to capes, lace up pants and thigh high boots.

I am now ever closer to the day that I will end here at this real estate agency. Tomorrow is my last day... ::sniffles:: You know, it's gonna be kinda sad, being I like all my coworkers, but goodbye to my evil boss! Heh, it'll be worth it just to get out and get away! I mean, NDK, here I come!

Speaking of NDK, I just got an e-mail from my Imoutochan, and hai, I'll be there! ::chuckles:: She's going as the super kawaii and super strong Lilin from Gensomaden Saiyuki. I can't wait to give her the two presents I made her for the occassion. The first is the Sanzo handbag since Lilin has a crush on Sanzo and the second is a secret, heh, I love keeping it that way! I can't wait though, this is my big vacation for the year! ::laughs:: Oi, that's sad, but I spend so much time making costumes! Oh yah, and I ended up giving into my dark whims and I threw together a quick Setsuna costume from Angel Sanctuary! ::grinz:: With my hair color and eye color, even my mum thought it was creepy how much he and I look alike! I've put together the famous white shirt, black slacks and angel wings outfit with the bandages coming down his arms. I may add a religious necklace for effect, I haven't decided yet. I really like this cosplay costume 'cuz it's easy to wear and I feel really sexy in it!

LotR news for today, I must have a new AragornXBoromir doujinshi I saw on Aestheticism! ::grins:: I saw some of the inside pages on Ebay and it's just as emotionally charged and heartbreaking as the one I own now! I luv how angst ridden and painful these Japanese artists draw the AragornXBoromir pairing! Then again, it really is an angsty pairing since we know what happens to our dear Borochan... Makes me wonder how I became Boromir between my Imoutochan and I... Oh, that's right, I'm older and the fighter and she's younger and smarter, so she's inevitably Faramirchan! ::GRINZ:: I can't wait until the artists start doing the BoromirXFaramir thing, that is so going into my collection!

After today, I'll only have two more days left of my employment and I'm outta' here... ::sighs:: I still don't know where I'm going, but that's okay right now. I'm gonna' miss my coworkers tons, especially the Listing Coordinator, Janet. She's such a sweetie, and she's been one of the best coworkers I've ever had. Well, I get to train her in my job today, so we'll get to catch up quite a bit the next few days before I have to head out. But in least my heading out will lead me to NDK, ne? ::smiles::

Well, my Oniisan got his Seymour wig and I had to cut off all the curls. The result was the beautiful feather effect that Seymour has in his hair, so I was really pleased! Just have to attach the extra hair pieces tonight and tomorrow and after a year of consecutive work, all five costumes will be done in completion. Ooh, I need to remember to also make my Oniisan's patterns for his chest tattoos tonight. ::scribbles in her Must Do list:: Anyhoo, it's been a lot of work, but it's been so much fun! I can't wait to see my Imoutochan down there! Oh and to Kamuisama of "F5," I hope to see you down at NDK next year too, and I'll send you a pic of the handbags I was talking about, hai?

LotR news today, I got my AragornXBoromir doujinshi yesterday! ::SQUEALS:: It's SO beautiful! The stories are so well written and done! Especially the second one, that one broke my heart! ::sniffles:: And the 3rd story isn't AragornXLegolas, it's in fact the two reminiscing together about how both of them loved the fallen son of Gondor dearly. Legolas weeping because he had lost a true friend and Aragorn weeping with him for the loss of someone much dearer than a friend. The art work by the three artists is SO good! I can not wait to see if they release more work, it's worth it! Now if I can just get Hazukisama to send me her AragornXFrodo stuff... ::waggles eyebrows mischeviously::

Well, I'm winding my way down both at work and getting ready for NDK! Last few minor costume things today and tomorrow and I'll be packing all the stuff together on Wednesday, crashing at Oniisan and Sissy's Thursday night, and we'll grab Jason on Friday a.m. and off we go! It's been a bit fun working here at my real estate place, I think I'll miss it, but certainly not my boss. She's still evil!!!! LotR news for today, I'm still awaiting my AragornXBoromir doujinshi. I think it should actually arrive in the mail today or tomorrow. Yosha, I've been dying to see it! Heh, I've gotten to see little snippets of it on Ebay from other auctioners and I've about died from happiness... YUMMMMM!!! Now they just need to start producing the BoromirXFaramir doujinshis over there and my life is complete! Oi, I just also went and somewhat priced leather for my Strider costume. NO WAY!!! Way too much for what I want to use it for. Looks like my beloved Elven princess will be attending the theatrical premiere with an upholstery vinyl clad Strider and not a leather one. Don't get me wrong, I'm huge on using the appropriate materials, but that is just TOO much and I don't have the patience to make sure I get all the cuts just so since I'm not using it for competition!

Oooh, I know exactly what I'll be hunting down at NDK this year. Besides a Kazuya Minekurasama art book, I'll be hunting down the "Kingdom Hearts" soundtrack. You've got it minnasan, this is Mirchan's new obsession! Oooh, Squaresoft and Disney combined, how much better can you get?! Even better, they've got my Squallchan at age 25!!!! ::swoons:: He's even more gorgeous than in FF8 and built like a brick wall with longer hair! Ooh, and the new Cloud?! He's a cross between Vincent and Cloud! That made him even cooler! The American voice they're getting for the overdub are really big name too! Haley Joel Osment is playing the voice of our main hero Sora and Billy Zane is either doing the voice of Squall or Cloud I think! KEE!! Happiness times a thousand!!!

LotR news for today, I was very honored to get to "read" one of Hazukisama's doujinshi comics. She's the lovely Japanese artist who owns cl. Oh my gosh!!!! ::tries not to die from sheer emotional beauty:: The story was AragornXFrodo and had to be one of the most heart wrenching and gorgeously drawn pieces I've ever read! I'm really bias to Hazukisama's work, but this piece just about ripped my heart out. She totally nailed how I think Aragorn and Frodo's relationship could be like if there were more shonen ai and yaoi in Tolkien's books! =^.~= I can't wait to see if she puts a full doujinshi out, I'm gonna' see if I can snag it from her! Yah!
