Went to the apartment today with my mum and my grams and measured windows for curtains. This is so weird, I've never had to do something like that! ::laughs:: Oh well, I guess we've got to start some time, ne? Ooh, but I've got this really kewl material for the front windows in my living room. It looks like paint has been thrown all over them. Sunflower print for the kitchen and waterlily print for the bedroom. I'm doing my whole home to look like there's a Garden inside. ::chuckles:: Kinda' an ode to my website and I'm painting flowers along the bottom of the floor and painting my fave anime characters and then just random fairies and such through it, I can't wait to start!

Speaking of anime, those who know me know I'm an utter Gensomaden Saiyuki fanatic and thanks to LNchan for RPing Gojyo against my Hakkai, I sat and watched my Saiyuki episodes again. I'd like to make a random observation about these two whenever they have a "moment" as I've dubbed it. Did anyone else realize they have their own theme music? ::laughs:: Seriously, minnasan, yesterday was the first time I realized that they actually have a song for just them. It's such a sweet lullaby like sound and it's terribly romantic. Hai, it might be just my GojyoXHakkai support coming out, but I watched other episodes with them having "moments" in it and the music popped right up and then they get a slightly soften effect animation style and they gaze into each other's eyes for longer than normal... ::swoons:: Oi, I'm so pathetic... YOSH!...

LotR news for today, I got my first pack of the Collector's edition trading cards. VERY nice, shiny cards! I was pleased to see that I finally got a nice one with a side shot of Frodo talking to Gandalf, but it still kinda' bites 'cuz it's not very bright. Frodo is really in shadow, but you can still see Mr. Wood's lovely blue eyes even in the dimness! YUM! Also got a spiffy "Flaming Eye of Sauron" shot. I don't know why, but I totally think that eye is kewl. Must be my ebil nature coming out or something... Heh...

RANDOM LOTR THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: As Gandalf lectured Frodo before he left the Shire, Frodo looked up at Gandalf in awe, one thought going through his head, "He's got food stuck in his beard..."

Well, minnasan, I heard back from the Realtor... I GOT THE APARTMENT!! I am beyond overjoyed!!! It's only about a 7-10 minute drive from my work place and it's near all the major stores and grocery places! Plus, it's had new carpet put in it and they said I'm welcome to change the wallpaper! Thank Kamisama for that, it's just awful stuff, I did not know they still printed mushroom yellow wallpaper! I'm really excited, much packing to be done!

Visited Ebay today, looked up Saiyuki and found out there's a new movie on DVD available that I don't have! ::begins to cry:: Man, and I'm broke right now too!!! ::sobs:: I mean, I've got the whole collection, all 50 episodes and the Requiem movie and now they're just released "Hope and Guilt" on DVD!!! I need that movie hands down!!! Plus, the cover about had me drooling!!! Gojyo and Hakkai should always be touching each other more intimately on all Saiyuki covers. Hai, I'm like most Saiyuki fans, once I've got my pairing I support it viciously! But not quite as hostile as GW fans... Thank Kamisama for that... ::chuckles::

Quiz time is also the LotR news for today! ::laughs:: I haven't gotten any ne Art Box cards, but I did get to go and pointlessly drool over LotR stuff walking by SunCoast in the mall today. Heh, I can't wait until they start showing the previews on TV next month!! ::grinz:: Must remind myself not to lick the screen when Aragorn is standing there soaked in the rain, sword raised, wind whipping through his soaked hair... ::Fans self:: I'm okay... I want to get up to Pamida again and buy more Art Box cards, but I haven't been able too. I just got back from looking at apartments... I think I'm gonna' take the second one I looked at! It's on a nice quiet street that's close to major grocery stores and shopping places, but at the same time isn't in the middle of everything! VERY nice new carpet in it and all the walls are white with the exception of the kitchen which I will make white, so I can paint all the flowers and fairies on it. Now if I can just get the apartment before anyone else does, oi!! Also, knee still in pain, but not as much and I think I'm getting the flu... Blech...

Kingom Hearts news, I'll be working on a doujinshi for one of my dear friends coming up, so it'll be interesting when it's finished. Heh, I'm not gonna' say what it's about, but it's unusual and it's definately not my usual work. I'm thinking that maybe I should look at making Ansem's costume for one of my guy friends. Don't you all agree that Dark Riku should be seen with Ansem hovering behind him? Heh!!!

LotR news for today, no new Art Box cards, but I did see of all things a little Disney magazine highlighting this winter's movies and right on the front was super sexy, wide eyed, frightened Frodo. I almost shrieked in the grocery store when I saw it! I am so pathetic it's not even funny. Ooooh, and I went to Software Etc. looking for the first 3 episodes of "Hellsing" and saw the manual for the LotR: FotR video game. Has anyone played that yet minnasan and if so, is it as good as it looks? I kinda' want to give it a shot 'cuz it is LotR, but I don't know if it's a good play or not.
