I definately earned my money today! Wow, it was such a busy day in our advertising section of production! Just after lunch, the ad sales people bring in these two huge half page ads and tell my coworker and I we have to build them. I've only been at it two weeks, but my coworker just threw me the really hard one and told me I had to learn some time! I was really upset in the beginning, but he sat with me and reminded me that doing was the only way I could learn. He also complimented me, telling me I was a hell of a designer already, and I would be one of the best in ten years. ::sniffles happily:: So I worked my hardest on it, and you know what, it turned out better than I would have imagined! I'm totally psyched to see it get published in next week's paper! Yosha!

I was scanning some wonderful Japanese Saiyuki sites and finally got to see the "new" versions of our Saiyuki boyz' outfits for Saiyuki RELOAD! ::grins:: I was planning to do the youkai version of Hakkai for NDK next year, but I'm definately going to do his RELOAD outfit instead! It's almost the same style of shirt, but it's short sleeved now with black border and the shirt is worn long over his hips with a black border at the bottom. He also wears a slim fitting long sleeved black shirt underneath, but he's still got his white wrap and those lovely slim fitting tan pants! ::giggles:: I love Gojyo's new tan and deep sepia coat too. He's look way hot in it! I just wish they would make an animated version of the RELOAD series, don't you, minnasan?

LotR news for today, does anyone know of a site that makes desktop icons? I've been enjoying my lovely TTT desktop wallpaper and started to think that my little icons weren't just ugly, but did nothing to flatter our lovely Frodo's face! ::chuckles:: I'm sure there are sites out there, if anyone knows, could you please e-mail me the address or just sign my guestbook with it? I'd make icons for myself, but I'm just way too lazy and I'd need my advanced Photoshop I use for making ads to have them just so. Hai, I'm really picky, I want to make sure I have the yummiest Aragorn shots if I make them myself! ::laughs:: But, I know is someone did make a desktop theme, they probably already knew the yummiest shots, ne?

I got off work early today... Kamisama I was grateful too! Okay, I know that I really do need the money, but the tension in that office was so high today, I was afraid to cough or I might send someone off! Good thing that I'm actually really well liked by the whole staff, but they used me as the go-between for staff members that didn't want to talk to other staff members! ARGH, CAN'T PEOPLE JUST GROW UP?!! Sheesh, we're in a business, not high school. I know my big boss was catching a whiff of some of the rather unpleasant emotions flying around, which was making him grouchy too. It was just one of those days and I am SO glad to be home.

I saw that movie "Eight Legged Freaks" over the weekend. It was FABULOUS!! Then again, it was also a "huge spider" movie and it had David Arquette in it, so that was a highlight in itself! ::laughs:: I don't think it quite reached the "Sam Raimi Army of Darkness" award, but I will bestow it with the Really Good Award! It's hard to get to that Army of Darkness point, but there are a few films that can make it! ::grinz:: Of course, there's a lot of anime that can make it too!

AH, HUGE SCARY EYES ON THIS KID!! Okay, I assumed I would have been 100% Seme since the last time I took one of these related quizzes, I came up not only 100% seme, but Level One Seme, aka the dark and possessive type. I blame the shift in my dominance to my love of Hakkai, who is beyond being an uke some times! ::chuckles:: Oh well, in least I don't have those huge scary green eyes like this bishonen!

LotR news for today, I went and visited Lord of the Rings.net today at work during a down time and was very happy to find out they had put up TTT wallpapers for computers! I instantly had to download the 800X600 onto my desktop! I love it, the picture is beautiful and it's got my precious Frodo on top and a gorgeous picture of Aragorn toward the bottom. I also liked the fact that Eowyn was featured but was totally bummed that there was no Faramir! I know that Eowyn is a big part of the TTT arc, but I really think that Faramir should have in least been shown standing in the background, being he does help Frodo and Sam! Then again, that could just be my Faramir bias rearing it's head again, ne?

Well, minnasan, I just couldn't take it any more. I finally had to call the realtor I rent from and report my downstairs neighbors. They've been noisy in the past, but I've gone for three consecutive days without any sleep due to their partying and then their subsequent arguing the next day. But, it sounds like my realtors weren't really thrilled to have to go and do something about it. ::frowns:: Kamisama knows I pay enough rent just like them, all I'm asking for is quiet when I sleep! Oi! I got home early from work today, started cleaning house and for the next two hours, all I heard was them screaming at each other, throwing things, and slamming doors. They're finally quiet while I'm typing here, but heaven knows for how long!

Looks like you're all in for more of my random Saiyuki musings today. ::chuckles:: Hai, I'm overly addicted to the series. Thanks to a conversation with LNchan last night, I've concluded that SanzoXHakkai has a much more fun advantage in reference to GojyoXHakkai too... Can we say 5+3=8?... ::laughs:: I think adding a bottle of wine and having Sanzo and Gojyo compete for whom can make Hakkai moan the loudest sounds like fun, ne? Oh, and on a rather odd note, I've realized I really love Konzen and Tenpou together from Saiyuki Gaiden. Mind you, not as much as Tenpou with his "hubby" Kenren, but Konzen is way nicer than Sanzo is, even if the guy is still a grouch. Plus, he and Tenpou like a lot of the same things. It's hard for me to picture Tenpou as being Hakkai's previous life some times, they're so different! But, Tenpou looks really pretty with Kenren and Konzen both. Funny how I'll really support KonzenXTenpou, but I'll half and half on SanzoXHakkai, ne? Boy, I really ramble when I'm Saiyuki obsessed, don't I?... ::grabs her Sanzo on a Chain (TM)::

LotR news for today, I saw some of the shots of the added minutes to the LotR extended edition DVD... ::sobs pathetically:: At this moment, I totally wish I wasn't so poor. Just for the shot alone of Frodo and Sam peering over the edge at the elven procession would be enough!! Isn't that shot just gorgeous? It literally brings Elijah's eyes out and makes them look like shimmering jewels! Oi, if that wasn't poetic, ne? I'm actually surprised though that the TV hasn't been bombarded by TTT previews yet. I see the video game all the time, but nothing really for the movie yet. I'm sure by next week after the Thanksgiving rush, it'll be plastered all over the TV, which is just fine with me!

I have almost no voice. Blech... Hai, minnasan, the Garden Mistress has come down with her viral laryngitis again, and it's just the beginning. Tomorrow will be my bad day where I can't talk at all, and then hopefully by Wednesday, I'll be somewhat normal again. I can tell you one thing, my coworkers who are both male have been having a hay day with me not being able to talk. Oi, I'll get them back for some of their chauvenistic comments! ::EVIL GRIN:: But, it's all in good fun, and I'm not too bothered by it, 'cuz they know I'm wicked enough to get back at them. Oh the up and up, having on voice meant that most people at work didn't bother talking to me today, so it sure made the day easier, even if it was still a lousy day!

Okay, I'm going to have a random rant/musing on Saiyuki right here. ::chuckles:: For those of you who don't like yaoi, I suggest you skip to my next section of my Blog. Okay, with that out of the way, I was observing Gojyo and Hakkai's interaction through the anime as well as some very lovely scans from the manga and realized that they really build their relationship on touch. Their interaction has always been very physical, whether friendly or intimate. Which brought me to the conclusion that especially with Gojyo, that is how they speak to each other. Hakkai is more reserved I think than Gojyo, but both are very apt to just do little things like touch each other's shoulders or backs or arms, and that would mean they are much more focused on each other when being completely intimate. This leaves a wonderful opening for yaoi fiction in this case, each touch can have a thousand meanings in reference to those two. Now for my slight rant, there is a lot of SanzoXHakkai fiction out there, I've noticed. I have nothing against the pairing or those who like them, but I guess I don't find how it makes sense. Hai, Hakkai is the only one out of the group that Sanzo sincerely tolerates, but Hakkai being youkai seems like he would be one of Sanzo's least favorite people. Then again, I have done slight stuff with SanzoXHakkai and I can find their advantage in reference to torturing Gojyo. Heh, LNchan and I are like the leaders of Torture Gojyo and Hakkai Society I think. Anyhoo, I guess for me it's always been hard for me to picture Sanzo with anyone period, he's just so unpleasant. Gorgerous, but unpleasant. Don't get me wrong, I love Sanzo 'cuz he's so nasty, heck, I've even got a Sanzo on a Chain (TM) as my otakuchan will tell you! I guess I should end random Saiyuki rant/musing here, ne? ::smiles::

Well, minnasan, I just got back from a very nice visit with my 'rents. I love seeing my parents, I honestly can say they're the best set a kid could have asked for. All my otakuchan used to tell me they wished my parents were their parents! ::laughs:: The bad thing though is I came back to my apartment with a terrible chest cold and I have a feeling it's just going to get worse. =T.T= Oh joy for my ever so great health, ne? I hope that I'll be well enough to stay at work tomorrow. If my boss gets even a sniff that you might be sick, he's got you packing out the door, and that's the absolute last thing I need to be doing! I seriously need the money!

I see "Harry Potter" had the third highest debut ever in movies on Yahoo. ::sniffles:: I talked to one of the guys at church today and he told me not only was it as good as the first one, but it has the most killer Quidditch match in it! Now I have to see it! My big addiction to Harry Potter is Quidditch. I always wanted to be a Beater, but I think being a Seeker would have been a blast too! But, I'm a touch too aggressive, so I would have to be a Beater, methinks!

I have NO idea who Sho U Tajimasama is, but seeing the work, I think I want too now! My favorite Manga artists go as follows:

I'm actually really picky when it comes to manga artists of any kind. I don't really like CLAMP at all, they scare me with all their overly huge eyes, but I'm getting a really big taste for Yuuki Fujiyama. She does shoujo (heaven forbid!) manga that I actually like without it all being flowerly and over flowing hair, etc.

LotR news for today, today is the one month (!) marker before the next LotR movie hits I believe. I was very pleased when I visited Baranduin's journal that she had some links to some gorgeous Faramir pictures. Oh Elbereth, I'd love to see even more of him! It's nice to see that he's going to be even more of a player in the movie TTT than he is in the TTT book. Of course, there will be lots of Eomer, which will be kewl. Oh the up and up, I can't wait to see Eowyn in battle. It's not often I really like a female character, but Eowyn is so tough, and I guess in a lot of ways I'm like her. I've always been a tom boy, I was lousy at acting like a girl and when it comes down to it, I'll fight like there's no tomorrow! Plus, she gets to marry Faramir at the end, so that's just beyond great, ne?
