But, in least I'm getting tired 'cuz I'm working for once, ne? I'll be glad to head back to see my 'rents this evening, I miss them a ton!

I've got a Harry Potter one already up in my office, but I definately think I need an LotR one to even everything out! ::laughs:: My coworker Jason is as big an LotR fanatic as I am, it's nice to have that in the office, though I don't think Mike knows what the hell we're chattering about half the time!

Well, minnasan, I'm convinced that my boss is going insane. He accused the production team today of doing something that happened three months ago when we weren't even there! OI!! Then he went and fired our Copy Editor and then rehired her, then tried to fire her again like in all the same day! He's also threatening to fire our Layout Designer, he's the best there is in the state and that's not a lie! My poor Production leader Jason is in such a rock and a hard place. I'm really glad that I'm not in his shoes, I don't think I could take! I really do feel for him! Though I admit I'm getting rather annoyed by how things have been going. The almighty boss just doesn't trust us, even if the paper we're putting out is the best that it's ever been! On the up and up, I got to lay out more of the paper using Quark today, and that wasn't very heavy on tension since it's not due unti Tuesday, so I'm learning more without the boss learning over my shoulder and complaining... =-.-=;;

Thanks to my coworker Mike teaching me how to use Photoshop really well, I've created a killer Gensomaden Saiyuki wallpaper that's called "The Boys are Back in Town!" They're all wearing delicious long sleeved white shirts, black slacks with a yellow stripe up each side and skiing goggles. ::giggles:: Hakkai's the only one wearing a hat, a white beret, he looks so kewt! Then again, I'm bias, ooh and Sanzo's got his hair back in a pony knob. Gojyo... looks smoking like always! Too bad that Goku is the biggest of them, need to move Gojyo and Hakkai up to the front, ne? ::grinz::

I'm sitting at work 'cuz I seriously have nothing to do. ::groans:: I would much rather be working my butt off and be completely exhausted from having a good hard day at work over just sitting here and staring at my coworkers lava lamp. ::chuckles a bit:: Mind you, not that that's not fun. It's amazing how much the three of us can kill time just staring at that neon goo. Oi, I think I need to get out more.

To the "Prince of Mirkwood," he knows he is, domo arigato for the sweet words. I can't tell you how much they warmed me. There will be Christmas for both of us, hai?... ::hugs him::

Saiyuki RP LNchan and I are running is going along quite splendidly. Talk about angst and sexual nitro. ::grinz:: I think that our Gojyo and Hakkai almost have the kind of explosive relationship that Minekurasama's main duo have in "Wild Adapter," but without the heavy duty gun play. Though I'm sure that could be thrown in there if we toss Sanzo in! ::laughs::

LotR news for today, my mum says there's still virtually no TTT advertisements on TV. I dun get TV in my apartment. Seems the only place that you can get anything decent is on Yahoo.com and Lord of the Rings.net for previews. I swear, I'll be going nuts next week knowing I've got to wait another four days before I can even go! It'll be fun though, going with a my two best friends. It's a movie one must see in a group so we can all be slack jawed together and they can hold me down from trying to jump the screen upon Faramir's entrance. ::CHU!!::

Well, that's all for today. If today doesn't pick up, I'll be losing a massive amount of hours. But it's the "last" issue of this year, then we do a very thin issue for #1, then I have a week off from work without pay, except for Christmas Day. If that doesn't just bite. I got off of work early today minnasan. I can not even begin to tell you how HAPPY I was to be out of that evil place today. Oi, I've heard about Production teams butting heads with Editors before, but today just got too extreme. I left with one of the worst headaches I could imagine. Plus, the Editor in Chief made our Copy Editor burst into tears. Okay, I sorta am half and half on that. He was being really rude, but she's also really sensitive. Me, I probably would have just spit on his shoes. Oi, I'm such a guy some times! ::chuckles:: The Editor actually leaves me alone most of the time, the joke is among the "Pirates of Production" as I've dubbed our little group, that I'm the "Enforcer." AKA, the REALLY SCARY ONE as my older coworker pointed out.

But, getting off work early today led me to Borders and I got to read the sixth installment in the "Mars" manga series! Oh Kamisama, it was soooooooooo good! I love the "bad guy," Masao, he's completely insane!! I mean, killing a guy at 14 with no regret?! It's brilliant! Oooh, and Rei starts showing off his bad side, he really goes nutso on Masao, though I can't say I blame him! Poor Kira, I feel for her! ::chuckles:: She's attached to men who are insane. Heh, I actually adopted Rei and put him in my Garden among the Roses. He's meh Hakkai's bodyguard and now, it's pretty obvious why I chose him! I feel sorry for anyone who crosses my Rei's path, especially if he's doing his job! ::grins::

LotR news for today, I saw this HUGE Gandalf standup for the TTT new book cover and I actually wanted to swipe it! For some reason, Ian McKellan just looked really hot like that! Then again, as much as I adore Gandalf the Grey, I've always had a soft spot for Gandalf the White. He's so much more in control and of course, he's got his beautiful, mystical horse to boot! I think though they should have a Frodo standup with him looking lost and dirty. Heh, I'd make sure I swiped that one, just would have to figure out how to get it under my coat...

Oi, minnasan, I'm grateful to be home after today. I got REALLY sick at work today, but it was edging toward paper deadline and despite the fact that I was running an awful fever, my boss asked me to stay so that the B section would get finished. My two coworkers wanted me to go home, and I can't say that I blame them, I'd rather have been there myself. My older coworker even offered to take me to the doctor. Gratefully, I'm getting off early on Friday afternoon and heading to the doctor. Like I was telling my Sissy this evening over the phone, I think I just need an extra pint and I'll be fine... ::smiles::

Saiyuki news, my Oniisan took the quiz and came up Sanzo. ::chuckles:: I find this quite amusing since he cosplays as Sanzo. Fortunately, he doesn't WHOMP everyone with the fan, but I think when he gets a sturdier one, the WHOMPing will occur in full force. I kinda want to cosplay as Konzen, I've always wanted to do a character with REALLY long hair, and Konzen is much kewler than Sanzo IMHO. Then again, I think that's just 'cuz Konzen is the only character I really adore from Gaiden. ::grinz::

LotR news for today, Mum told me they have a whole new set of cards being sold at my home town's store. These apparently have preview cards of the TTT cast in them! ::sniffles:: Oi, how awful it is to be broke! Hokay, so I'm not broke, but I need to eat over the cards. Well, I could probably come to a compromise somewhere there, but generally I need to eat. Heh, I am going to see if I can't find them at Wal-Mart in the trading card section, I bet they'll be cheaper there. I wish they sold more of those 3D Hologram card sets, I really dug those!
