What kinda' bites about hearing a depressing song is it sorta' changes your mood for the day, ne? I haven't felt really good today due to my shoulder being just a touch still out of it's socket. (Thank Kamisama I'm getting it reset in a few hours!) But that song just kinda' made me feel low again. ::smiles a bit:: But I'm sure that I'll feel better in a little while, especially when my cursed arm is set correctly! I'll be heading home to see my 'rents today too, so that'll be nice. I miss them and it has been a long week and I need hugs... ::smiles::

Went to the bookstore yesterday and stumbled across a most unique manga called "Chicago." It took the concept of the weepy female teen heroine in shoujo manga and went and threw it in the trash. Rei is a tough talking, cursing, butt kicking and bazooka using female who looks like she could slit your throat first and ask your name then. I immediately loved her. Then of course her partner Uozumi is... Oh geez, Uozumi is... So damn delicious that he should have his own ice cream flavor good... Uozumi has now been added to my list of top five anime guys I would shag, he's ranking at number three, Hakkai being number one and Gojyo being number two. Think of a long haired, more bishonen version of Vin Diesel and you've got Uozumi. ::grinz:: Of course, Rei is in love with Uozumi, but he doesn't feel the same way, because he has someone else. ::giggles wickedly:: And that someone else is quite the surprise! I highly recommend everyone go and check this manga out, it gets a 10 on my Top Ten Anime Kewl scale!

LotR news for today, my coworker Jason and I had to do much chattering about TTT this morning, he finally got to see it last night. Of course, he like me, agreed that the Last Stand of the Ents had to be one of the best parts of the whole film! I seriously just want to go back to watch that part again! Oh, if anyone has the TTT soundtrack, is the song for Gollum is as pretty as it seems to be? I only got a hear a snippet of it, and I really want to hear the whole thing. I don't really have the money right now to buy an actual CD, so if anyone can just let me know how it is, I'd appreciate it!

I can't believe I actually slept for almost fourteen hours... ::chuckles:: Hai, it was one of those times that I had just finally recovered from my stomach flu last night about 5:30 p.m. and ended up falling asleep on my futon. I woke up about 7 p.m. and ate a llittle bit, fell asleep on the futon again until 9:00 p.m., took a shower, checked my e-mail until 10:00 p.m. and went to bed until 6:30 p.m. Oi, apparently I needed the sleep, ne?! But on the up and up, I do feel much better and I get to go out to eat for free tonight and then go and visit the bookstore.

Anime/manga news, I used the Borders $10.00 gift card my Oniisan and Sissy gave me for Christmas and bought the English translation of "Ayashi no Ceres" by Yu Watase. I can say that as much as the art work was nice, I was actually rather disappointed in the whole series, since it's supposed to go along the "horror" vein of manga. Maybe I'm just used to the violent/sexual/sensual nature of Minekurasama's work, that Yusama's work seems very tame to me. But, I do love Aya's twin brother Aki, I think that he's such a kewl character and of course, Tooya is definately hot, but I don't think I'm probably going to go about collecting the rest of the manga, I'd rather get "Paradise Kiss." Maybe I should have gotten that to begin with, ne? ::laughs:: Oh well, the manga still has some great art in it!

LotR news for today, I found my One Ring from my bookmark on the floor. I actually stumbled across it, which made it incredibly amusing to me because that's how everyone seems to find the One Ring, ne? Maybe if I was a Hobbit, it'd be even more symbolic! ::grinz:: But if I was a Hobbit, I'd then have to go through more trials then I probably would be able to handle. But if I had Aragorn taking care of me, or heh, Faramir, it would definately not be that bad!

Don't you just hate when you hear a song on the radio and it sticks in your head FOREVER?! That's what happened in reference to the current song of the day, I just can't get that dang 80's classic out of my head. Nor can I get images of poofy hair disappear. ::laughs:: Oi, I'm feeling a bit on the weird side already, I woke up at 5 a.m. this morning with one of the worst bouts of stomach flu in a LOOOOONG time. I just wanted to curl up into a ball and die, but somehow I managed to get enough medicine in my stomach to hold the nasuea off and still got to work. I think some times I'm a bit too dedicated, I hope that I don't get anyone sick from whatever attacked me. I'm also hoping that it's only a 24 hour virus or it could be a very long day again...

::chuckles:: I fear that I might be getting poor LNchan even more sucked into my Kazuya Minekura ways. ::grinz:: I don't know if she'll get quite to my obsessive level, but there's always hope! =*^^*= Actually, I read a rather good translation of Minekurasama's yaoi/shonen ai piece "Araiso Private High School Student Council Executive Committee!" There was a riotous scene where Kubota has Tokito pinned against the locker and with this really sexy look on his face whispers, "Just this one time, let me have it just this one time," and Tokito is so flustered, blushing red, whispering back, "Iie, Kubochan, someone will see us!" and Kubota responds, "Just this one time... Lend me your history notes..." ::LAUGHS:: I about died when I read that! Bless Minekurasama for making such wonderful light shonen ai/yaoi jokes!

It's been an odd day at work... We're already about a day ahead on ads, so we're all just kinda' sitting here not sure what else to do. My shoulder is giving me the time, and I know I really shouldn't be typing, but I don't know what else to do today! ::laughs:: We've got to in least look busy so that we don't get sent home too early! Oh well, could be worse. I am getting paid for doing pretty much nothing!

I got my package from LNchan yesterday. The girl spoiled me rotten! She made me a Saiyuki wall clock out of a CD and clock parts, VERY KEWL! macademia chocolate nuts which survived two minutes, chocolate mousse Pocky, a Gourry pencil holder and the gift that had me almost squealing, a "Wild Adapter" manga tankouban by Kazuya Minekura! ::GLOMPS LNCHAN:: I felt so spoiled today, I took WA with me and some of my strawberry Pocky and shared with my fellow comic/manga fanatic at work. Jason thought it was the greatest, and I still feel wonderfully spoiled! Domo arigato LNchan!

I also had lunch in my car today, which brought a rather gentle memory to my mind. ::smiles:: Bleu's given me a lot of good memories, he's my first car I ever bought. Plus, I owe alot to Bleu for giving me a reason to smile in May when I graduated. It was a good week... I will always treasure it and that very important Graduation week in my life.

It seems like every time I go to any of the stores, they're either sold out or they didn't get their shipment in! Oi, you think with the movie busting $200 million they'd be clamouring to sell more of the posters and cards. On the down and down, I lost my LotR cheap One Ring. Not that it's that big of a deal, but it was a gift from Oniisan and Sissy attached to my Frodo bookmark and I really liked wearing it. Heh, maybe I'll find it on my carpet when I vacuum tonight, ne?

Well minnasan, now that I've had the "Dogs" blaring out of my coworkers computer followed by much eyebrow raising involving what the song was "soundtracking" too, I've decided to return to my computer and pretend my poor little mind just wasn't fried by it. Unfortunately, they're at it again. ::laughs:: Once in a while working at this place ain't half bad. I actually feel well enough to be functioning, I even slept last night. I might have to go home and vacuum the floor up, but that's okay. I found out the hard way though last night that my oven isn't as nice as I would like it to be. Set a little dinner in the the oven to reheat and it was in for two minutes and the smoke detector went off even though there wasn't anything burning! I guess I should be so glad it's so sensitive, ne?

Saiyuki musings, I haven't updated 58 for a couple days, I'm actually figuring out an .html template for the site. As much as I like the "Green Leaves/Garden" effect, I'd rather actually show off the characters on the side bar. It'd be shame not to display some of Minekurasama's work... Or in least some of my work... ::chuckles:: I'd also like to set up my cosplay website on freewebz.com so that I can display some of my Saiyuki costuming as well as the other stuff too. ::smiles::

LotR news for today, I didn't get to see TTT again, so I was bummed out by it. But, that's okay, I think I might hit the theatre with my otakuchan this weekend. I don't think either went, and I really do want to see it again. I'm hoping that Oniisan is right when I chatted with him on the tele that they will have more Faramir in the special edition cut! I was really bummed out how little you got to see of my favorite character. Then again, I felt like there should have been more Frodo, but the Battle of Helm's Deep was supposed to be the highlight. The Last Stand of the Ents was MY personal highlight, how kewl were those effects?! I can't wait to see how they made them, I'm a junkie for those kind of things.
