Well, minnasan, I'm not having a very good day. In fact, I've not had a few good days for a while. But, I have learned one thing. When I am feeling down, I like to make other people smile, 'cuz that makes me feel so much better! So, I figured I'd post another piece of my fiction, this time quite humorous. I actually originally posted the first of these on the Kingdom Hearts Yaoi mailing list I belong too, but I figured you could all use a laugh too, so enjoy!

Without her, this would not be a written piece, I tip my hat to her and her brilliance! SUMMARY: Squall teaches Sora how to use his Keyblade...

SQUALL'S TRAINING JOURNAL:

DAY ONE: Sora turned out to be the Keyblade master. Decided to train him, so I gave him the blade. Found him a minute later crushed under the weight of it. Must consider making lighter version.

DAY THREE: Sora is progressing quite well with the Keyblade. Showed me his new arial spin he was practicing. Very impressive... Doctor assured me that the stitches from the demonstration will come out of my forehead in three to four days.

DAY SIX: Am considering tying Sora to a tree and not allowing him to swing Keyblade any more. On a side note, I have started signing my credit card receipts as "Leon," which seems very wrong. Perhaps I should go with "The Fighter Formally Known As Squall Leonhart?"

DAY NINE: Sora has come great strides with Keyblade. He showed me his arial spin and I survived this time. Unfortunately, Keyblade went through Yuffie's bedroom window. Did not know Yuffie could curse in seven languages, including Yiddish. Will keep in mind for future use.

DAY FOURTEEN: Took Sora into town to battle some low level Heartless. He did quite well. Cid assured me that I would only have to pay for half of the flower pots, windows, and small glasses that he destroyed in the process.

DAY SIXTEEN: Let Sora have day off. Went off with duck and odd dog like creature for day. Decided to use day to advantage. Did some Gunblade practice, then went to bar. Met up with gorgeous blondie with claw like hand. Reminds me of a professor I used to sleep with... Got wasted, went home with him...

DAY SEVENTEEN: Major hangover. Blondie turned out to be Cloud Strife. Told him I dug the claw while nursing black coffee. He told me he'd call me and left. Yah right... Sora came in with Keyblade and proceeded to show me neat wrist trick. Found the wrist movement oddly alluring... I'm beginning to worry me.

DAY TWENTY: Took Sora into forest to do more Heartless battle. He did quite well and destroyed all of them, and then proceeded to do very disturbing war cry and dance about to strange music that appeared out of nowhere. Wonder where soundtrack music came from.

DAY TWENTY-THREE: Let Sora sleep in today. Watched him yawn and cuddle into sheets. Had urge to crawl into bed with him and cuddle him... Then had other thoughts... Left room and took cold shower...

DAY TWENTY-FIVE: Sora has become very efficient with Keyblade. Did a number of arials and even tossed blade into air. Was VERY impressed. Doctor assured me that Sora's black eyes will go away in five to six days and the spot where the Keyblade hit him dead between the eyes shouldn't scar badly. Set up frequent payer plan at hospital then.

DAY TWENTY-EIGHT: Sora getting fidgety, wants to stop Heartless with duck and odd dog like creature. Told him he'd be ready in a couple days. He gave me puppy eyes and asked if he'd ever see me again. Began to contemplate bad thoughts again. Took another cold shower.

DAY THIRTY: Sent the duck, the odd dog like creature and Sora on their way to battle evil Heartless after catching Sora using the Keyblade to push up the curtains and peek in on Aerith in her underwear. Will have to try that with Gunblade later. On another note, Cloud called... Am getting laid later...

Well, minnasan, I went swimming today. Hadn't done that in a LOOOONG time and forgot how much I really enjoyed it! I also saw "The Ring" last night and was kinda' disappointed. I was hoping to be screaming but all I did was jump once and then get confused at the ending. Oh, it was still a good movie and I recommend it if you're a fan of "The Sixth Sense" or even "Signs." I'm hoping that "Ghost Ship" will be as scary as my dad's friend says it is! Plus, that movie has Karl Urban in it! Yummy! Oh a side note, I went back to the video store I used to work at and talked with one of my two old bosses. There may be a very slim chance that they have an opening, but they told me they'd be glad to reconsider me for the job if they do. There's a little glimmer of hope there, ne? Haven't heard back from "Claire's Boutique" yet, but I'm hoping by next week I'll be able to get a job interview! Here's keeping our fingers crossed, ne minnasan? ::smiles::

Anime musings, the next few installments of "Betterman" comes on the T.V. tomorrow night. I missed the last couple weeks, so I'm sure I'm going to be utter confused, but I've been trying to hit some websites to fill in the missing gaps of episodes I haven't seen. I'm really suprised there's not more out there on this series! It's very good now that I've gotten into it a bit more. Confusing hai, but still very good. Then again, I've always been a sucker for horror/Gothic anime. ::grinz:: I suppose it's that dark side of me coming out again, ne?!

Cosplay news, I found my old Rikku wig and took out the braids and the pins. I'm pleased to say that it's long enough and messy enough to be used for my FFX-2 costume, so there's one less thing I have to buy! YOSHA!! I also found my old Graduation robe from college and am pleased to say it's just the right length in both hem and sleeves that I can use it for my Harry Potter "Hogwarts" uniform! I just have to find the small pattern I had for a hood and attach a hood to the back of it then make the "Gryffindorf" patch for both the robe and the gray sweater! Next step for me is finding a gray V-neck sweater, they're suprisingly hard to come by!

Quiz time for today came off a site I stumbled across with a whole bunch of quizzes on it. Kichan and I were chatting about "Fruits Basket" and I figured I'd take a quiz in honor of it!

LotR news for today, still haven't seen anything on what's coming out on the TTT DVDs, but I did read a very amsuing article on MSN news about who they thought got really snubbed for the Oscars this year. Three cheers for whomever wrote the article and pointed out that it was rather sad that Peter Jackson didn't get nominated for Best Director when his film got nominated for Best Picture! I completely agree with that! I think it's 'cuz so many thought the Academy favored FotR last year too much. I certainly hope that when RotK comes out, Jackson, the cast and Tolkien Enterprises MOPS the floor!!

Well, minnasan, I hit the job hunting trail again today. I turned in an application at Claire's Boutique, an accessory store in Spearfish for the "Assistant Manager" position that's opening up. The lady who owns it knows me a bit, and I'm hoping that will play to my advantage. Most other places I visited told me they were either full or weren't hiring until April. Oi! I don't think I can wait until April with my insurance, car payment and medical bills. But in S.D., April is about the "hiring" time around here. If nothing else, I suppose I could take my Flagger test and become a Flagger for the summer. ::blech:: But, if I can't find anything, in least I'll get quite a tan! Even if I don't want one!

Manga musings for today, I've currently garnered quite the drawing obsessions and I figured for S & G's, I'd list what I've currently been working on, i.e. characters, series, movies, etc...

10.) Scenes from "The Scarlett Letter" (The poorly done movie version with Demi Moore and Gary Oldman. Lousy interp of the book, but Gary Oldman was just TOO YUMMY!)

::LAUGHS:: Something is really, really funny about seeing Hugo Weaving in drag with little airplane propellors on his chest lipsynching that song in drag!... If you haven't had the chance to see "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" yet, I highly recommend you check it out! Seeing his almighty stern faced "Elrond, King of the Elves" wearing pink nails and a blonde wig is worth every moment! Oi, I needed the lift up though today. I caught a touch of the flu, the achy body kind fortunately, and not the "everything comes out of your stomach" kind. Still, it's been annoying today and hai, my sewing machine is still broken. ::sniffles:: I can't wait to get that poor thing fixed! I miss it already!

Cosplay news for today, I cheated on making the little orange circle for the center of Rikku's bikini top today. I actually used a little plastic ring and puff painted it orange. Instead of having the trouble of tying orange yarn to the circle, I just stretched out some orange puff paint to make the perfectly shaped ribbon. This will also make doing the orange lining on the outside of the bikini top much easier because I won't have to sew it, just puff paint it on! Plus, it's one less thing I'll have to worry about coming unclasped, untucked or anything else that could happen with this skimpy of an outfit!

Anime musings, I haven't gotten to see any more of "Betterman" yet, which totally bums me 'cuz I know when I catch it next week I'm gonna' totally be lost. It's definately one of those series that you have to watch from beginning to end. BUT! I may have found a site that sells the long awaited "Blue Seed 2" series, something that I myself have been waiting seriously for. My first real introduction to what I would consider "pure" Japanese anime was "Blue Seed" and "Evangelion" by my Oniisan when I was 16. I have been a huge fan of both series ever since, and I've seen screen shots of Blue Seed 2, but couldn't find it anywhere! Looks like I might have tracked down a site finally that sells the fan subs of the series! Yosha!

My Oniisan, Sissy and I were musing on "X" and "Tokyo Babylon," admittedly the only two CLAMP series that I vaguely want anything to do with. LotR news for today, I still don't know the release date of TTT and I'm really starting to get impatient! Seems like when they released FotR, it was out immediately. Okay, so it was August, but still! You think there would be something on Lord of the Rings.net about it. Then again, I haven't visited for quite some time, so maybe there is! Also, does anyone know what kind of added footage they'll be putting in. I was complaining to Oniisan and Sissy that they needed that vital Boromir bidding Faramir farewell sequence. Not just because I'm a huge BoromirXFaramir fan as much as it makes the death of Boromir all the more tragic. I'm having a thing with tragedy and evil today, aren't I?...
