HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY, PAPA!! Hai, minnasan, today meh pop turns the big 50! In honor of the day, we threw him a "SpongeBob Squarepants" party! He got Spongebob themed party favors, Spongebob clothing and Spongebob toys! All is right in the world! ::laughs:: During his 40th I believe, it was all Puumba from "The Lion King," so we're just keeping up with tradition!

If you still haven't went and seen "Pirates of the Caribbean," go now! ::chuckles:: I'm gonna' take my Grams this next week I think to see it. I'm sorta' half wavering on seeing "The League of Extradionary Gentlemen..." Partially 'cuz I'm not a very big fan of the comic it's based after and partially 'cuz it's got Stuart Townsend in it and I'm sorry, but after seeing him in "Queen of the Damned," I have NO taste for that actor at all! He just turned me completely off after that film...

Cosplay news, I just have to paint Sissy's Misato necklace and it's good to go! Next week Tuesday I'm off to the all the thrift shops in the surrounding area to find a "Debbie Gibson" styled hat and a white or off-white trench coat from meh Oniisan's Subaru costume. Once that's done, I can make my Masquerave costume, bag everything up and have it ready to go before September! Yosha! For once I won't be working down to the wire, ne?

Okay, so normally I don't Blog when it's almost 1 a.m. in the morning, but I just got back from "Pirates," and I need to Blog right now about it...

SEE IT!!! SEE IT NOW!!! DON'T WAIT!!!!

I never thought I'd see a movie that was as good as LotR: FotR, but I have found it... I didn't think I'd find a movie as incredibly good as The Matrix: Reloaded, but I have found it... I never thought that Disney would ever make such SPLENDID live action films any more, but they have proved me wrong!

"Pirates of the Caribbean" is a true cinematic masterpiece! The actors and actresses were incredible, the special effects were breath taking and the comedy had me almost rolling on the floor!

Like many fans of the movie, I totally agree that Johnny Depp's "Captain Jack Sparrow" completely stole the show! That man can play a comedic, smart, fast sworded drunk pirate like no other! Orlando Bloom was splendid as "Will Turner," playing the straight man for once... (::snickers:: Can I use those two words together in relation to Orli? J/K) I even liked the main female lead, who proved that corsets suck, you can fight like a man and you don't always have to listen to Dad!

I'm really grateful Mum took me to this, I can't wait to see it again... and again... and prolly another time after that...

Ohayo, minnasan, gomen nasai that I haven't posted again for a while... I hope that everyone had a very good 4th of July and have recovered from any and all activities. I'm pleased to say that I am actually feeling relatively well for once, I'm sure Moon-chan is happy about that! ::smiles::

Speaking of my dear friend, Moon-chan, I want to thank her here too for all the wonderful birthday gifts that she sent me last week! Chu! She gave me a plushie Frog which I named "Frog..." Oi, I'm really creative, aren't I? She also gave me Nutrigrain bars, (Yumm!), tattoo pens (which I've been having a hey day with!) and more body glitter! They are all so loverly, domo arigato sweetie! ::huge hugs::

Cosplay news, I have to now move on to finding a white trenchcoat or a light enough colored trench that I can dye white for my Oniisan's Subaru costume! He's gonna' be one of the few blonde Subaru's, since I don't really want him dying his hair that dark, he'd look like an albino then! ::chuckles:: I just finished making Sissy's cross necklace for her Misato costume, and it's currently drying above my computer! I did the last final things to my suprise cosplay costume and now I have to go back to my FFX-2 Rikku costume and finally make the belt and bags... I've putting it off WAY too long!

Get to go and see "The Pirates of the Caribbean" late tomorrow night with my mum! It's gonna' to be so much and I can't wait! Anyone who knows me knows I have a serious thing for pirates! I even wrote an AU Slayers yaoi fic just so I could make Gourry a pirate! ::grinz:: And the fact that the movie has Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom, I'm thinking I'm gonna' be able to churn out some pretty dang sexy slash!
