Ohayo, minnasan! Hope everyone out there in Cyberland is doing well! ::smiles:: Oi, it's been over a month since I updated my Blog! I apologize to everyone, it's been totally crazy around here, and I'm really sick right now with a chest thing I can't get rid of. Fortunately, I do see the doctor tomorrow, so hopefully she can give me some medicine to clear this thing up!
First of all, HAPPY 30TH ONIISAN AND HAPPY ANNIVERSARY ONIISAN AND SISSY! Today is the day that both honors Oniisan's birth into the world and the day that my favorite two got married! I hope that everything is bright and happy for the both of you! And in case I don't update soon, HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY TO MY MUM AND TO SISSY!! Both their birthdays fall this month too, so I want to shout out to them!
Work continues as always, though I've had to leave early the past three days or so, 'cuz I can hardly breathe! My boss has been very understanding, so that's helped. I'll be glad when summer kicks in and the college kids can get a more set schedule and we won't have to work around classes any more! It's hard to keep up with who needs what day off some times!
I recently discovered the anime "Gakuen Heaven" on Youtube.com, and I must say, it's very amusing! It's based on the Boy's Love game of the same name, and features character designs by the very talented You Higuri! Overall, it's been fun and light so far, I've seen 5 episodes unsubbed. (My Japanese must be getting a little better, 'cuz I seem to actually know what's going on! ::chuckles::) My favorite character so far is Iwai. I think he's beautiful, and he's very shy and a very talented artist. He's also a "reversal" height character, meaning he can be seme or uke. He seems to only be seme (In least in the game version) with Kaito, but generally plays uke to Shinomiya and Naruse. I wouldn't mind getting "Genki no Cosplay" together and doing the characters, I think it would be fun! =^^=
Cosplay news for today, I'm pleased to say that my brand new spring kimono is finished in time for Chani's "Kimono Dinner Party" next week. I chose a white material with beautiful colored butterflies and flowers scattered on the material. The obi is black with a long black ribbon in the back. That said, the material was so evil to work with!!! GWAH! If I hadn't spent a fortune on buying it, I would have tossed the whole mess into the garbage. But I did get it finished. I think it turned out pretty, but I could have done better if the material had cooperated. I'm still on the hunt for Cocoa colored jeans for my "Jacques" cosplay and a decent sized top hat for my "Gothic Aristrocrat." My surprise cosplay is still in the planning stages, but I need to find a large legged pants pattern. It's been tricky, but I'm sure I'll run across one, ne?
