Hey there, minnasan, long time no post, ne? Gomen nasai but I've been WAYYYY busier with work than I thought I was going to be! But the really spiffy part is... I GOT A PROMOTION! Yay! I never thought I'd be so excited to be moving up in a grocery store of all things, but I get to start working as the part-time bookkeeper up in the main office. Which means that I won't have to deal with grouchy customers all this week! On the down side, I have to get up at a quarter to four in the morning to make my shift in time. On the up side, no irritable blue haired woman who complain I forgot their five percent discount! Yosha!!!!

Oh, and if you've checked out my Blog, you've noticed I've actually joined a couple more fanlistings and have created a "Couples/Pairings" section, which I've moved my GojyoXHakkai fanlisting and have added my TougaXUtena fanlisting. Now before anyone points out that Touga and Utena are a Het pairing, I'm very aware of that! ::chuckles:: But long before I knew even what Yaoi was, Touga and Utena were my dream pairing, so much so that I even call my dear Youkai "Touga" as a nickname and he affectionately calls me Utena back, so it's a lot of fun! I also joined the Irvine Kinneas fanlisting... Like I wouldn't, ne?...

But, the new BIG addition to the Blog is you can leave me comments now at the end of my entries! If you would like to leave a comment to me, but do not have a Blog, please end your comment with whatever name you go under. You see, if you don't have a Blog, you end up just coming up posted as Anonymous and I won't know who left me the message! LNchan actually went out and got a Blog so she wouldn't have to keep writing her name down! ::chuckles:: Sankyuu you sweetie!

Now for my wonderful Nostalgia report! For those of you who've taken part in this fun little activity, I hope you had a blast and I hope that we can hear from you on how it went! My Nostalgia week ran from January 15th-January 22nd. This was slightly different from the others taking part because of how my work fell. Without further adieu, here's the report!

NOSTALGIA WEEK: JANUARY 15TH-22ND

THE 15TH: Found the oldest manga I had ever bought, when they were still printed in the American size of comic books and read from right to left! So, I reread "Project A-Ko" and laughed my rear off! I forgot how much fun that manga was! I also read the date, and I bought that thing way back in 1993. Talk about a flashback!

THE 16TH: Found my original Sailormoon manga and decided to read #1. Remember how much I adored Amichan and really loved Naoko Takeuchi's work! Such lovely soft lines and flowing hair! Much fun!

THE 17TH: Read Sailormoon #2 and came to the conclusion that I was definately a "Magical Girl" fan when I was younger. Still loved reading Sailormoon! So much so I even drew a fan art featuring the Nine main senshi and the three cat guardians!

THE 18TH: Short on time due to work, so I filtered through my doujinshis and found one of my oldest ones, which was a Cloud X Vincent/Cid X Vincent piece done by the doujinshi circle "Dr. Ochiozuna," or something in that manner. LOOOOVED rereading it, they draw the best uke Vincent!

THE 19TH: Rewatched "Otaku no Video" for the first time in two years. Oi, now I know that I'm an Otaku! When I first bought the DVD, I only got about a 1/3 of the jokes they were telling. Now I pretty much caught all of them, and some added visual jokes! I'm not sure if I'm pathetic or just amused! ::laughs::

THE 20TH: Rewatched the movie "Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust" for the first time in two years. Man, I forgot what gorgeous art work MadHouse studios can produce! Of course, "D" was gorgeous as ever, and made me think of how much I still want to do one of those cosplays! Mega recommendation to new anime fans, this is a must own!

THE 21ST: Short on time again, so went through my doujinshi collection and found one of my very old Trigun doujinshis, Vash X Nicholas. Very gorgeous art work and features a really moving story between them! Not hard core at all. Non-anime related doujinshi also read was "Dark Heaven," an extremely rare Star Wars doujinshi that took me forever and ALOT of money to get ahold of. ::chuckles:: Now rereading those were fun again!

THE 22ND: Final day of Nostalgia was a bit on the slow side! I didn't have a lot of time thanks to work again, so I finished out by reading my "False Freaks" doujinshi, which is Vincent X Cloud. Normally I don't favor variation, but I was in it for the art work all the way!

Overall, I had a complete blast revisiting old times! If you've had fun taking part in this, drop me a note via my Blog to check out a report or check out my Livejournal and leave a note there!

Picture Perfect has been updated with a brand new look featuring my adorable "Galaxy Angel" girl Mint! Check it out and feel free to visit my "Users Information" link and check out my new trading card!

Quizzy time for today was stolen off someone's LJ, but I don't remember who's!

Hi, my name is Jeramie. I was just randomly searching through blogs, when I came across your profile. Thinking there wasn't any woman left in South Dakota, I took the liberty of reading through a few of your posts. I hope you don't mind. By the sounds of it you probably won't. But sorry just in case. Anyways, I unfortunetely didn't find any of your art, but you are a good writer, though I have a couple of questions: What do you look like? And what exactly is a manga? I get the impression it's some type of anmie comic book of some sort. But, I'm not sure. I should probably already know this being a filmmaker, but I'm a bit of a rebel when it comes to the big screen. That reminds me. If your in Sioux Falls next month, stop by the West Mall 7 Theatres and watch one of my films. It's only $3. This one's called "A Real Genuis: The Scott Ervin Story". It's fricking hilairious! This summer and fall we plan to shoot a Western. I'm so pumped. We're going to film in 1880 Town by Belvedere, SD on I-90.
How are the hills? My parents live out there. Maybe I'll bumped into you sometime.
Peace

Oh, I took your quiz and I got a 4.

Individualist
I am sensitive and intuitive, with others and myself.
I am creative and dreamy... plus dramatic and unpredictable.
I am emotionally honest, real, and easily hurt.
Totally expressive, others always know exactly how I feel.

Hey, thanks for the comment! Wow, a film maker, ne? That's really impressive! I wish I lived near Sioux Falls, I'd be glad to check out your film! Will it be locally produced on DVD any time soon so that perhaps I could rent it?

Hai, a manga is a Japanese comic, most of them are where anime is created from. My favorites are mostly by Kazuya Minekura and Naoko Takeuchi, two very prominent artists with different styles! If you'd like to see my art work on my site that's no longer updated, please feel free to visit my website "Illustrio," the link is on my side bar of the blog. Hope you enjoy the art work and feel free to keep visiting my Blog!

Sankyuu!
