I just got back from a bike ride with my mum. It was a lot of fun, the weather was a little crisp, but that's nicer when it comes to doing a bit of off-roading, since you can really get sweaty doing it! ::smiles:: It's supposed to be warmer starting this coming week, so I can't wait to start riding my bike to work!

LNchan, it has been quite a time! I'll try to be on-line tonight so we can chat. I've usually been popping up on the ebil MSN messenger between 9:30-10 p.m. Mountain time, so hopefully we'll catch each other tonight! Don't worry about the Wolf's Rain eps yet either, you can send 'em to me when is convenient. I shall wait patiently for my Tsumesama!

Cosplay musings for today, I will NOT be going to the convention this year as Anji Mito as previously thought. This is due to a very AMUSING twist of fate from today. There was this huge sale with 25% off everything in this discount/rummage store in my home town. Well, they were selling all their clothes for $5.00 or lower. My mum bought me a near EXACT replica Irvine Kinneas coat from Final Fantasy VIII today. Thus, my fate was sealed with my mum's encouragement. Those at NDK this year will be seeing Irvine Kinneas Friday and FFX-2 Rikku Saturday and Irvine again Saturday evening. ::laughs:: Guess I finally lived out my motto which is "Irvine... It's Not Just a Name, It's a Way of Life!"

Oi, it was a SLOW day at work today minnasan. There was nothing for me to do, since I had spent the last three days cleaning the place top to bottom! But my best friend Yukichan stopped in, we hadn't seen each other in months! She brought me "coffee and a kiss!" ::chuckles:: Translation, she gave me a Hershey kiss and a cup of white chocolate butterscotch coffee that I couldn't drink, since I'm allergic to caffiene! But that's okay, she suffered through having to drink it for me! It was tons of fun just chatting with her and I can't wait to see her again! I also got to watch "Resident Evil" the movie again, which is one of my new faves! Nobody gets cooler than Milla Jovovich in that movie! I seriously would like to make her outfit for Halloween this year!

Cosplay musings, I have stumbled across the costume that will be my big project for 2004! Hai, I'm already planning that far ahead, 'cuz I think it's gonna' take me about that long to gather up all of the materials needed! Thanks to the wonderful fan website of "Immortal" in Japan, I was introduced to the wonderful Japanese game "Gensou Suikoden III!" I know I and II are sorta' well known here in America. Anyhoo, I saw the main pirate of the game , Geddoe and was MADLY in love with him! But, the character of Jack, one of Geddoe's pirate mates has become my cosplaying obsession!! His whole outfit is utterly gorgeous and I normally hate wearing too much blue, but the color of his crushed velvet coat is such a soft blue, I was instantly in love and the pants and turtleneck are the bomb!! Plus, he's got short blonde hair all spiked up, which is how I normally wear mine! I'm really excited to start looking for materials for this outfit already! Also, I found the absolute perfect material for meh Sissy's Misato jacket, I can't wait to get my first paycheck so I can pick it up!

LotR news for today, I'm pleased to see that Ebay is now being littered with more and more LotR doujinshis! When I first started collecting those particular doujinshis, they were virtually impossible to get a hold of! But, there's quite a lush selection coming out and for those of you with really sharp eyes, there is also some LotR RPS doujinshis coming out, most notably OrlandoXElijiah, ViggoXElijiah (personal fave) and ViggoXSean Bean! Guess slash travels from all groups to the other, ne? ::grinz::

Well, minnasan, I'd like to say getting glass stuck in your toe or anywhere else in your foot really SUCKS!!!! I accidentally dropped a glass cover for a pot this evening. Of course, I was barefoot, walked to get out of the way and ended up getting a shard of glass shoved clean into my big toe. Hurt like a bugger! So, I yanked it out and ended up padding blood spots all over the kitchen floor until I finally got to the bathroom. ::chuckles ruefully:: Thank Kamisama my mum was there to clean up the rest of the mess while I mended myself. I have no luck with glass, I swear...

Movie musings for today, I happened to see two interesting films this week. I saw the French film "Brotherhood of the Wolf," which was suprisingly good in my opinion. I don't think my 'rents really got it, since it was overdubbed in English and I really do believe French cinema of any kind is an acquired taste. Plus, it had Mark Dacascos in it, he's one of my fave martial artists/actors! I give it a Really Good rating out of my buddy Nick and I's rating system. Then I saw "Ghost Ship," which was a GREAT horror movie! Enough gore to keep me happy and it had Karl Urban (Eomer from LotR) in it to boot along with Gabriel Byrnes! The opening sequence is worth seeing the whole movie, but definately not for the squeamish. "Ghost Ship" gets the award of "Army of Darkness" good!

Speaking of movies, I was looking up Gackt on Ebay, since I admit I'm starting to get a little bit into the J-Rock/J-Pop thing. I actually prefer Gackt with his J-Pop attitude now more than when he was doing J-Rock. I just think it's 'cuz he's so beautiful right now with his white hair and blue eyes! ::smiles:: Anyhoo, for those of you who don't know, Gackt's in a new movie along with Hyde, one of the member of "Le Ciel..." (I'm not going to put the whole band title, it would take too much space...) Anyhoo, the movie is called "Moon Child," it's kinda' a futuristic piece, very violent and for those of you who love Seine Ai, you've got HydeXGackt apparently! ::grinz:: Anyhoo, for those of you who'd like to watch some trailers, or check out what characters the actors are playing go and visit Moon Child: Official Movie Website for further stuff and some really awesome information! Can't wait until the subtitled version comes out!
