Well, minnasan, the small thunderstorm we have had today seems to be passing. Which really bums me, 'cuz I was hoping for a lot more thunder, much stronger lightning and perhaps even a small funnel cloud. For those of you who don't know me really well, I am obsessed with tornados. I think that's why I live in the state that I do. I was watching the weather channel and see that they've been having a slew of twister warnings in the upper panhandle of Nebraska. Now, I just need to wait and see if it's going to head North or not!...

Cosplay news for today, I decided to put together a "Count Cain" costume from "Count Cain/Earl Cain" manga by Kaori Yuki after I saw his initial designs and the beautiful Victorian styled outfits he wears. I am a sucker for men in top hats. Plus, he always carries around vials of poison, so I thought it would be amusing to sew in small candy filled test tubes into my jacket that I can open and flash my "poison" for anyone who wishes to drink it! Now I just need my Lief/Riff to fill out the role as my "seme" and we'll be good to go!

Right, so I'm sitting here right now with a partially swollen left eye. Give me an eye patch right now and call me Bart... ::chuckles slightly:: Seriously though, minnasan, I'm not sure what I'm going to do if this doesn't go away pretty soon. Well, I'll have to see a doc again, I suppose. I'm trying to keep my hands off my eye, looks like I'll have to dig my real eyepatch out again. This happened to me about two years ago, and though we weren't sure what it was at the time, I remember paying a HELL of a lot of money for some medicated eye drops to make it go away. Unfortunately, I don't have that kind of moola at this point in time... Hell, I'll be lucky to be able to pay my insurance...

Saiyuki musings, I visited the lovely and slightly humorous Japanese website "Hug," the other day to find a very explicit 58 yaoi short doujinshi the wonderful artist had posted. Mind you, I do enjoy my yaoi, and this was some of the most hard core I've ever seen. But, I thought about another Japanese site I visited and this particular site had a gift doujinshi given to them done in watercolor (!) showing the more romantic side of Gojyo and Hakkai. Now I love the hard core stuff as much as the next fan, and mind you, the first doujinshi was hot! ::grinz:: But I might be a sucker or something, but something about the soft, gentle, very tender view of their relationship makes them seem much more real to me!

Mum just handed me the GQ sample magazine we got through the mail. Woo, Keanu Reeves is on the front with the title, "Needs the Love of a Good Woman..." ::hentai grin:: Oh where I could go with that... Then again, I'm currently obsessed with licking Vin Diesel's bald head, but that's a whole other story. Anyone else think that there should be at least one nude shot of Vin Diesel in one of his movies? ::waits for multiple hand waves:: Yup, that's what I thought...

LotR related news, speaking of Vin Diesel, they just announced that Karl Urban will be joining my favorite bald man in the new "Riddick" movie that will be released next year. Okay, so Karl won't be in his Eomer gear, but anything with that luscious New Zealander is worth all the money to see it! Plus, Vin and Karl in the same movie, I think I can now die a seriously happy otakuchan...

Ohayo, minnasan! Apologies for not posting in my Blog for a while, but currently I am in exceeding amount of pain, so I doubt that this will be a very long post! I have dislocated a number of ribs again and I believe I may have torn some cartilage between a couple of them. Thus, I am currently slightly whacked out on Vioxx to kill the pain and am feeling not too bad, even if my fingers refuse to work quite properly! Overall, I guess it could be much worse, ne?

Saiyuki musings for today, Minekurasama has just released her two new art books for the Saiyuki RELOAD series, "Salty Dog 1 and 2." Very gorgeous pieces of art with some VERY funny pics she's done of our fave four! My personal favorite being a picture she's done of what looks like her hands framing the boys for a photo shot! They all look like models in the picture! I especially like how Gojyo and Hakkai look! Gojyo is looking all cocky and Hakkai just sorta shyly peeking around them. SO ADORABLE! Once again confirms why I love my fave Saiyuki pairing!
