In least the morning has started out nice, I got to hear the above song, and it's one of my all time favorites! ::smiles:: I seriously consider that song when you listen to the lyrics Gojyo and Hakkai's theme song. I can literally see them dancing to it in a night club... I can also see them doing a few other things to it too... ::grinz:: Definately the horizontal and most like with Gojyo's tastes, vertical tango. My coworker Mike just came bearing Bavarian cream filled donuts, which even if it's a little early, I'm gonna' eat anyways! ::laughs:: Oh, and to everyone, a Happy Holidays no matter what you celebrate, I hope that the season is bright. On a side note, it appears that my Bravenet hit counter has disappeared. I'll have to check what the problem is, ne?

I read from a link on LNchan's blournal that they arrested a bunch of Muslims in California. WHAT THE HECK?! I suddenly feel like it's the Red period of time in America again. Sheesh, I can understand having some fear, but we're going to end up going to Black List mentality again. This is supposed to be the Land of the Free, the Home of the Brave I thought! Paranoia seems to be running free, ne?

Random Saiyuki musings now that I've cooled a bit, ever wonder what Sanzo is actually thinking about the rest of the group?... I mean, he's always grouchy with everyone, but do you think he ever has funny thoughts? I just picture him staring at Gojyo or Goku and thinking "They've got a booger hanging out of their nose." or looking at Hakkai and thinking "I wonder if he realizes there's a piece of vegetable in his tooth." That could make Saiyuki even more funny than usual, ne? ::grinz::

I got off work early today, minnasan. I worked on laying out the paper and then we were so efficient that we ended up getting done a bit too early. Thank Kamisama I'll have about 35 hours this week any ways. They don't pay me enough for the horrible amount of tension that's in the office right now. Life threw me another curve ball again, but that's okay. Some times things like this happens in life. ::smiles a bit:: It's always a learning experience, ne? On the up and up, I finished Sissy's Christmas present! Took me forever to think up the design, but once I had it in my head, it worked out fine! I just couldn't put the other little thing I was planning to add to it, 'cuz I couldn't figure out how to make it work! Oh well, maybe in the future, ne?

Random musing on Hakkai, does anyone know how that monocle stays on his face ALL the time, even in battle? Must be one of those strange anime things, like Sanzo's many objects that appear out of nowhere and that Gojyo seems to never run out of cigarettes even if he says he doesn't have any. ::chuckles:: Hai, my mind is a little bored today, I know...

Random Saiyuki news, LNchan last night dubbed me Hakkaichan for good. ::laughs a bit:: Actually, that makes perfect sense to me, and I certainly don't mind if she continues to call me that, it's kinda my new anime nickname. ::smiles:: On a side note, for those of you who are hard core 58 fans and know of a site called "Hug 58" in Japan, chibi sex is both oddly disturbing and sickly entertaining, ne? ::grinz::

Maybe I'll call Yukichan. I'm not sure I can wait until Sunday matinee! I'm about gnawing at the bit! But not enough to take off my Ring finger... ::chuckles::

Well, minnasan, the rain is a biting cold, it's supposed to start blizzarding in my hometown and my doctor's appointment was canceled 'cuz I probably wouldn't have gotten back home to Rapid otherwise. I was at work at 6 a.m. and finished there about 1 p.m. with no lunch break. On the up and up, in least I got the hours I wanted. ::laughs a bit:: I'm feeling a bit down today, and I'm not sure why. I generally love the rain, but this biting cold to it reminds me that Lady Winter is breathing down my neck yet again.

I just got back from Borders, I decided to splurge a bit of my time and I finished reading the next edition of Mars, which was FABULOUS! I now know why I like having Rei as my Hakkai's bodyguard in the Garden. So dedicated and just a touch insane! Also went and finished reading the next two "Paradise Kiss" books they had out. ::chuckles:: I can tell you one thing, George the main "heart throb," is a complete anti-shoujo leading man. He actually reminds me of my old boyfriend Joey. Joey was a model who could design very nice outfits. He, like George, was an equal opportunity lover. ::grinz fondly:: He also had the same boorish personality of George, so I felt rather sickly connected to the character!

One of the staff members at my paper asked if I'd like to catch a movie some time, maybe I should go with them all tomorrow, ne? Actually, I'll probably be exhausted. My beloved Faramir will have to linger a bit longer before I see him! Oh, the agony! ::laughs::

I just got back from having dinner and going and seeing all the beautiful lights with my 'rents. It was fun being home this weekend, but VERY busy! We made homemade candy on Saturday, and I helped my Pop get his presents picked out for Mum! Also, my kids sang beautifully in church today, I taught them an old carol in French. They can really sing their hearts out when they're set to doing it! But, I'm very tired from the whole trip, and this week begins HELLLLLLLL week at work. My work closes down for the Christmas week, so we've got to put out two papers in a week's time. ::groans:: As if my boss isn't high strung enough!!

Saiyuki news for today, still staring longingly at "Hope and Guilt," the new Saiyuki movie on Ebay. ::sniffles:: The ONLY part of my Saiyuki collection I'm missing! Heh, I hope that there might have something on it that has to do with why Hakkai and Gojyo look so "comfortable" together on the cover and why Hakkai's hand is resting on Gojyo's knee. ::grinz:: Hai, I know, I'm hopeless when it comes to 58, I see it anywhere now and I just start grinning! Of course, I also had a plot bunny bite me, so we'll see what comes of it!

Manga recommendation for this week, I suggest everyone go and find a manga called "Paradise Kiss" or "Parakiss" if you have the Japanese version. It's recently been put out by TokyoPop and it's the "shoujo" manga that basically makes fun of shoujo manga. ABSOLUTE RIOT!! I haven't laughed that hard at a manga or even a comic in ages. If you love fashion, Gothic Lolita, Punk Rock, or all of the above, then you will go and check this manga out!!

Naturally, I have to take this moment to suck up to them pointlessly and bow my gracious head to the two ladies who dubbed the wonderful words "Whorlie" and "Mr. Sex..." I would stay in Rivendell where I would hide away from the rest of the world and often attack visitors and relatives with mighty floods in the shape of horses, or at least computer graphics. But everyone would like me anyway (naturally) because I have good taste in decorating.

Speaking of LotR, the news for today is that being home and watching TV, I'm finally getting to see a little bit of previews. Boy, they haven't really doused the TV like they did when they premiered FotR, did they? Oi, I guess I keep waiting for a massive media blitz. Anyhoo, I was in Spencer's with my mum at the mall today, and I found a huge contariner of TTT posters. Naturally, I had to go and check them all out. What I was really disappointed about was NO FARAMIR!! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely drool over the Frodo one and the Aragorn one is sexy, if there were less females in the pic, but no Faramir? Sheesh, he's a really intricate part of the story and everyone needs to appreciate Dave Wenham for all the sexiness that he is!

Believe it or not, but it was sixty here in South Dakota today, so it's not a very white Christmas, but the spirit is here.
