I want to thank everyone who left me such kind words yesterday. To my 'rents, it meant the world to me that you let me just cry on the phone for a half an hour and remind me that everything will always be okay. I owe both of you more than just my life, I really do owe you both my real sanity. To my otakuchan who supported me, I thank you. There are days like today that I realize I really am human. I can't do everything, I can't be everything, I can't help everyone. It's days like today that the pain gets a little bit harder than usual and some of my bitterness comes to the surface. I try to remind myself that I need to smile, need to remember that things get better, need to do all of that. Right now, I don't want to do any of that. I'm sorry to my friends right now if they need a shoulder to cry on. I can't do it right now. I'm sorry to a lot of people if they need help, but I can't do it right now. I almost lost my temper today, something that no one should have to see. So I need a little time for me to breathe. I need to remember that I need to think about me for a while. I know that a lot of bad things happen to people in the world, everyone has their problems, and normally I want to be there to help. But today, I think I need the help. I can hardly keep my composure right now. I apologize to everyone if I'm not the happy person I normally am right now. But even how I am right now, I never forget that tomorrow is another day. Even if I'm hurting like hell right now, even if I need to be held up right now, it'll be okay. Everything always is okay. I will return to my peaceful state, but as of today, please don't ask me to hold you up. I'm afraid that I'll stumble. IT'S COLD, IT'S COLD, IT'S COLD!!!!!!! Oh Kamisama, it's currently zero degees with a wind chill factor of negative 15! The office is chilled, I've got a turtleneck, a V-neck sweater and if necessary a sweatshirt to pull over it on! Even then, my hands are frozen and I'm having a hard time typing! Oi, I almost forget why I live in South Dakota. I know it's for the beautiful scenery, the fresh air and the soft ways, but NOT for the winters! I think I just froze my fingers to this keyboard... =-.-=;;

Anime and manga news, in least I get to go to Borders tomorrow after dinner and see if they've got any new and/or interesting manga. Please let them have a new edition of "Mars" in least, I'm dying to know what happens to Rei and Kira! Who'd have thought I'd really like a shoujo manga, ne? To the point that I really love the main guy/girl couple. Not often I care much for that kind of thing. I might also go and check out the new DVD's at Suncoast. It'll just be wishful thinking, but I would love to have the 13 episodes to "Hellsing" right now. It's more shonen, so it tends to bend to my tastes.

My Imoutochan and her otakuchan even dedicated a small portion of their cosplay skit last year to a sequence in Worthing. I was more than flattered! ::hugs her imoutochan::

LotR news for today, edging ever closer to heading home and claiming another pack of LotR cards. It's funny, now that I have my Frodo and Faramir, I seriously want any cards that picture Legolas and Gimli together. Hai, I know I mentioned it yesterday, but I just love how the two interact. I'd also like to get a "greasy" Aragorn pic and an "ungreasy" Aragorn card. ::laughs:: Poor Aragorn, he still doesn't look like he washes his hair, even in the rain!

It's not often that I can say a song fits my mood perfectly, but today is one of those days. I don't know, maybe it was having to get up so early this morning, or maybe it was because the day went smoothly, or maybe it was because I was home by noon and still got my hours in. Whatever the case may be, I feel really at peace and very happy right now. I realized a lot last night and this morning while I was sipping my hot cocoa. I have so much to be grateful for. I have my faith, my loving family whom I cherish, my dear friends, both in real life and on-line, my job (even if it's hard and tough some times, it does pay the bills), a house over my head and the fact that I can laugh at jokes, create beautiful art, write, and dance without caring about the world around me. I am glad to be alive, minnsan. I hope that I can make others as happy as I feel right now. ::smiles warmly::

Hopefully when I go to the bookstore on Thursday, they'll have some new manga for me to look at. Borders is kinda at a stand still right now getting shipments of manga in. Which really suprises me, since it is one of their hottest sellers. Where I live results in us not getting as much manga and anime as I know a few other states do, so we fans tend to be quite ravenous for new stuff! Plus, I'm dying to know what happens next in both "Mars" and "Chicago," since I'm a really big fan of both! ::chuckles:: I suppose I could stalk the manager of Borders until I was sure she was ordering both new editions, ne?

LotR news for today, when I return home this weekend I hope to gather more TTT collectors cards. I know I won't top last week's pack, and I got everything I wanted in that one pack alone, but I'd like to get an Aragorn card for my collection and I would love to get one with Gimli and Legolas together as I think they're so funny, especially during the TTT movie! I love how their friendship is blooming, Gimli is one of my favorite under rated characters, and him with Legolas makes it a lot of fun! Hai, I admit, I also support Gimli and Legolas as a mild slash coupling just 'cuz they interact so well together!

Well, it's been proving to be quite a unique day today. I can't say its been terrible, but it hasn't been exactly the most successful either. I'd like to apologize to LNchan, Kichan and Moon-chan. I know we normally chat at night, but I won't be on-line tonight due to the fact that my boss decided that the Production Team and Copy Editor had to arrive at work at 5 a.m. tomorrow morning. ::smiles slightly:: Amazing how little things like that really can get on your nerves, ne? The fog is really setting in on the office, I'm hoping that the drive home will be without incident! I don't need another ditch incident, ne?

Slight random rant... If someone needs to tell me something, I just wish they'd come out and say it. I don't like having things hinted at, or just sorta scooted around. Really, I'm a relatively mild person, so if you've got a problem that you need to talk to me about, please just say it straight out. ::smiles:: It makes me feel better knowing then if I can correct it!

Anime and manga news, now that I am quite pleased with Meganimedvd.com, I think that I shall go ahead and do business with them in future. Thus when I get a little bit ahead again, I'll go ahead and order "Araiso Private High School Student Council Executive Committee." Hopefull those who subtitled the Saiyuki movie will have done this one too. The Saiyuki subtitling was quite good, so I can only hope that it will be just as great!

QUIZ TIME for today is also the LotR news. I was bored and figured I'd take an LotR quiz again since I don't really have any news. After all, getting a Frodo and a Faramir card in the same collector's pack makes a lot of stuff seem boring! ::chuckles::

Well, minnasan, I just got back from spending the weekend at my 'rents place. It was a much needed reprieve from everything that has been going on around here. Oniisan and Sissy stopped by to visit later in the afternoon, only problem was, I took a sinus medicine and wasn't very good company for them afraid. I kept falling asleep! ::laughs a bit:: I am sure that they both forgave me though. My thrill came Friday night when I was driving home. A sudden ground flurry struck, blinded me, and the wind was so strong it lifted Bleu off the ground and next thing I know, I'm in the ditch. Fortunately, I called my pop, let him know and told him to give me a few moments, I figured I could get Bleu out. So I popped the car into first, revved the studded tires, spun out, and threw myself back on the road! I'm really glad though that no other car was coming from the opposite direction, 'cuz the amount of power that I used to come out of the ditch landed me in the other lane of the road! Boy, I was glad to be home. I will NEVER complain about making Bleu's car payments again, that little boy earned his keep Friday night!

Anime and manga news, I did receive my Saiyuki movie on Friday and watched it Saturday evening! Quite good, has a very tragic ending, though fortunately it doesn't feature any of our boyz in that aspect. But, if you have Japanese PS2, you can play it like a choose your own adventure. I didn't have that option, so I just watched it as the movie form. The subtitling was suprisingly good, normally they hack the names and all to pieces, but someone was really paying attention! Though I found it incredibly amusing that when Gojyo is fighting Jien/Doukougaiji in battle, Gojyo tells Jien that "I hate boys..." I figure this must come from the fact that the animators have been trying to make Gojyo look far more heterosexual than he is. So I got a good laugh out of that, since anyone who's seen the anime or read the manga know there is far more to Gojyo and Hakkai's relationship than meets the eye. Overall, I'd give the Saiyuki movie "Kibou no Zaika" an 8. Subtitling was splendid, the music was rather bland, the story was good, perhaps a bit predictable and the animation wasn't actually as up to par as it was in "Requiem." Still, I highly recommend it!

YAY, LULU! She's got to be the kewlest female character that Squaresoft has thought up with in a long time. I was really bummed that she wasn't put into FFX-2, but I guess that new gal Paine is kinda supposed to be LuLu's equivalent. Still, wouldn't it have been totally kewl to see LuLu swinging a sword and use her dolls to attack?

LotR news for today, I went and picked up a pack of Two Towers collector's cards at Pamida just for fun. Usually I dig through the box until I find a package that looks promising, but I was in a hurry, so I just grabbed the top. By Elbereth, talk about sheer luck! I opened it up and found the #1 card in the series, a Frodo portrait! I don't own a Frodo card yet! Right behind it then was a Faramir portrait card and I thought I'd be waiting FOREVER to get one of those and it was in the same pack! To top it off, there was another card featuring Frodo and Sam with Faramir featured on the back! ::laughs happily:: I told my mum there was no reason for me to get any other cards, I had everything I needed right there!
